How It Works

Rime monitors every significant moment in the order lifecycle. Once a new activity is recorded – e.g. an order is placed, a payment clears, shares are delivered – Rime sends an automatic notification to your system with the activity details. Your platform receives these notifications instantly and can respond immediately: update your customer’s dashboard, send them an email, trigger compliance workflows, or record the transaction in your systems. This automatic synchronization means your customers never wait for status updates and your operations team always has current information. At every stage, Rime keeps your platform synchronized automatically. Your customers see real-time progress without refreshing their screen.

Key Notifications

Rime sends notifications for every important moment in your customer’s investment journey:

Order Events

Order Placed: A customer submits a buy or sell order. Update your dashboard to show “Order Received” and send confirmation to your customer. Order Processing: Payment was received and settlement is underway. Show your customer that their order is being processed. Order Complete: Shares have been delivered and the order is finished. Confirm completion to your customer and update their portfolio display. Order Cancelled: An order was cancelled (customer request, payment issue, or compliance hold). Notify your customer and explain next steps.

Payment Events

Payment Instructions Ready: Payment details, i.e. transaction reference and bank details, are ready after order creation. Payment Received: The bank transfer arrived successfully. Inform your customer that their payment cleared and settlement is beginning. Payment Failed: A payment was declined or didn’t arrive on time. Alert your customer immediately so they can resolve the issue.

Settlement Events

Shares Delivered: Tokenized shares arrived in your customer’s wallet. Update their portfolio to show the new holdings. Settlement Failed: Something went wrong during settlement. Your operations team needs to investigate and your customer needs to be informed.

What Information You Receive

Your technical team configures which notifications you want to receive and where they should be sent. You can choose to receive all notifications or only the ones most relevant to your operations.

Reliability

If your systems are temporarily unavailable, Rime automatically retries until the notification is received. That way, you’ll never miss a critical update about customer orders or settlements. All notifications are secured to ensure they genuinely come from Rime. Your technical team can verify authenticity before processing any notification.
